Traditional acupuncture is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles that have been developed, researched and refined for over 2,500 years. Trained in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine and qualified as a medical doctor in Shanghai, China, I truly recognise the benefits of complementary medicine and the integration of both disciplines.

I have been practicing acupuncture in Britain now for 20 years and have gained vast clinical experiences in dealing with a wide range of health conditions in a holistic way. My expertise in traditional acupuncture includes muscular-skeletal conditions, back pain, fertility, stress and anxiety, migraine and general well being. I also have special interest in treating sports injuries and count premiership footballers amongst my patients.

I have over 9 years of working as a part-time lecturer in acupuncture BSc(Hons) programme at University of Salford. I worked as clinical supervisor for acupuncture BSc(Hons) programme at Manchester Metropolitan University from 2013-2014. This constantly reminds me of the importance and responsibility of upholding the standards of acupuncture in Britain. It has also re-enforced my Ethical Codes of Conduct and my own professional development in acupuncture practice.
